First Female Black African Bank CEO, Basani Maluleke steps down

Basani Maluleke has resigned as the group’s Chief Executive Officer and as an executive director of African Bank and African Bank Holdings Limited Boards of Directors.

The group announced the departure of Basani on their Facebook page. Below is what they posted.

Apparently Basani Maluleke is stepping down to pursue other career opportunities.

With 15 years of financial services experience under her belt, Maluleke was the first black woman to lead a South African Bank.
