DJ Sbu Retires From Massive Metro

South Africa’s most celebrated media personalities, DJ Sbu has announced his retirement.

DJ Sbu said he is leaving Radio Massive Metro to focus on his own brand, Homegrown, which includes radio, music and a wholesale arm.

He revealed that at some point you have to hang up the mic and focus on the development of others.

Adding, he said it is his second time retiring in his life.

First was from music 10 years ago and after 20 years of radio, he thought why not go out with a world record.

However, he said he is not gone completely, he promised to be sharing his radio experience by training new generation of radio talent on Homegrown Radio.
