Footballer Reneilwe Yeye Letsolonyane has retired from professional football. He announced this in a creative video which showed his highs and lows.

Yeye Letsolonyane played for the national team Bafana Bafana and giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates among others.

The video shows the midfielder from when he started playing football incorporating all the clubs he played for and the trophies he won as a player and for the clubs. It also showed magazines that he graced and where he made headlines.

According to the Sowetan Live, Yeye appeared in 331 league matches. His career spanned over two decades and he scored 31 goals and 30 assists. He retired a respected player and he trended on Twitter as tweeps wished him a happy retirement.

He will now concentrate on his businesses which he co-owns with his friend Siphiwe Tshabalal. Yeye and his wife Mpho Letsolonyane are blessed with two children.
