King Misuzulu KaZwelithini’s delegation was in Eswatini where they were sent to pay lobola for his second wife Nozizwe Malule.
The King is following his father’s footsteps by marrying a woman from Eswatini. His mother Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu was also from Eswatini.
His mother was the daughter of King Sobhuza and sister to the reigning King Mswati III. The lobola negotiators took 25 cattles to the in-laws.
The second Queen is said to be a bank official in her country of birth.
Misuzulu sent the delegation after being approved as King by President Cyril Ramaphosa last week.
