The African National Congress’ Interim Provincial Committee has formerly confirmed the suspension of North West Premier Job Mokgoro.

Mokgoro was suspended alongside with four other members. The IPC accused them of colluding with opposition parties when electing a new Chair of Chairs in the legislature.

The ANC said this was against the mandate of its caucus. All members including Mokgoro are said to have received suspension letters.

Mokgoro has revealed that he has not received any formal notification of suspension. He said he continue being a member of the ANC.
