Panyaza Lesufi Elected as ANC Gauteng Provincial Chairperson

SABC NEWS reported that Panyaza Lesufi has been elected as the new ANC Gauteng Provincial Chairperson.

Lesufi succeeds David Makhura as the Provincial Chairperson. He received 575 votes beating Lebogang Maile with almost 30 votes.

Lebogang Maile congratulated Lesufi and pledged his support for the new leadership.

Maile added that everyone has a responsibility to rally behind the new leadership and no one should be found denouncing it.
