Yesterday South Africa woke up to the devastating news involving 22 young people who allegedly died at a tavern in East London, Eastern Cape.
It has been reported that a 13 year old teen was amongst those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
Police Minister Bheki Cele visited the scene of the incident and addressed the parents. He urged them to be strict when it comes to underaged children.
He said it is not normal behaviour for parents to sleep while their underaged children are out partying at clubs and taverns.

Cele said investigations are underway to determine what happened.
