Konka is a popular place for leisure activities and it is based in Soweto. The place has become a millionaire’s playground as it attracts the rich from business people to celebrities.
The owner of Konka Soweto is Kutlwano Pitso, a marketing professional who holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing and Brand Management.
Like all entrepreneurs Pitso also worked for others before he started his own business. He worked at M-Net as a Marketing Assistant. After ten months he was promoted to be a Marketing Executive.
After two years as the Marketing Executive he became a Brand Manager. In 2016 he started Moja Cafe in Soweto. The place combined a car wash, hanging out place and a restaurant.
Konka opened its doors to the public in May 2021. During the launch, Moja Cafe announced in a statement that their facility will be five years old in December 2021.
They said with time there is need to evolve thus they were opening a new venue for their entertainment offerings. The new venue is called Konka Soweto.
In addition they revealed in the statement that they will soon expand their businesses into malls across South Africa.
