Head found in Soweto body parts investigation

Sowetan newspaper reports that the head of the woman whose body parts were found in the freezer of Flavio Hlabangwane (26), has been found buried in a shallow grave, in Lufhereng, which is near Protea Glen.

The newspaper reports that the body parts are being linked to a Soshanguve woman, after her ID was found in Flavio ‘s backyard flat.

The family of the 23 year old woman has approached police to enquire if the head is that of their daughter.

During initial investigations, Flavio took police to Lufhereng, where he indicated that he put the missing parts in different bags and threw them into the river.
