Muvhango debuted on the 7th of April in 1997 on SABC 2, making it one of the longest running shows in South Africa. Over the years we have seen many actresses come and go.
While some of these actresses resigned, some were fired for poor performance, bringing negative publicity to the show and more.
Khanyi Mbau joined the show at a very young age. Mbau was fired after she brought negative publicity to the respectable traditional show by always being in the limelight for all the wrong reasons.
These include partying wildly and being cheeky. Simphiwe Ngema was fired because her character was apparently useless and added no value to the production.
Pfhuluwani Mukwevho was fired from the show as the producers were not impressed by her poor performance. She was then told that her contract will not be renewed.
Buhle Samuels was fired from Muvhango for being rude and too demanding. She was also a nightmare to work with some crew members revealed.
