There are reports that President Cyril Ramaphosa has been given 14 days to release former President Jacob Zuma from prison. This was demanded by the Free Zuma campaigners.

The group revealed that they will send a letter with a list of demands to the President’s Office. They expect a response within the next 14 given days.

The group did not specify what would happen if the President fails to respond to their demands within the 14 days. Some of the demands include the withdrawal of all cases that Jacob Zuma is currently facing.

They want Zuma released from Estcourt prison within 14 days, they also want the nationalisation of mines and the expropriation of land without compensation, establishment of the State Bank and an end to the current lockdown.
