The traditional Prime Minister of the Zulu Nation Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi has slammed a legal battle over the late King’s Estate, describing it as shameful.

This follows reports that King Goodwill Zwelithini’s first wife Queen Sibongile Dlamini has filed papers asking the Pietmaritzburg High Court to interdict the coronation of a new King.

She wants the court to recognise her civil marriage to the late King as the only binding legal union. The news comes as mourners flock to the Royal Palace in Nongoma following the passing of Zulu Nation’s regent Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu on Friday.

Buthelezi said some of King Goodwill Zwelithini’s children and members of the Royal family received summons from the first Queen of the late Monarch of the Zulu Nation.
