The Sunday Times reports that Anele (Nellie) Tembe, who jumped to her death at Pepper Club Hotel in Cape Town last week, was saved from jumping at Durban Hilton Hotel on December 11 by her cousin.

The newspaper reports that her cousin was present the whole time and hotel employees kept asking the cousin to keep talking to Nellie.

When the police arrived, Nellie reportedly became aggressive.
