Ntosh Gaz, the John Vuli Gate Hitmaker, has told the Sunday Times newspaper that he paid R5000 to DJ Maphorisa to promote his hit song.

However, after paying the money, Maphorisa did not promote his music and disappeared.

Ntosh Gaz said he initially wanted to report the matter to the police, but he decided against it because some people told him it was a scam artist who was being the con, while others said it was really DJ Maphorisa and he did not want to ruin Maphorisa ‘s reputation.

The story comes after DJ Maphorisa was this week accused of conning Ukuthula records owner, Letty Mncube of R3500 using the same modus operandi.
