Dr. Sindi Van Zyl Dies At The Age Of 45.

Doctor Sindisiwe van Zyl has passed away at the age of 45 after a long stay in hospital.

‘Dr Sindi’, as she was affectionately known, had been ill after contracting COVID-19 earlier this year.

Van Zyl’s family said she passed away on the morning of 10 April 2021 at a Johannesburg hospital.

The medical doctor became a household name through sharing her support and advice on Twitter, quickly gaining a large following.

She was also a radio host on Kaya FM until recently.

She leaves behind her husband and two young children.
