Julius Malema, Commands in Chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), will meet former South African President, Jacob Zuma for tea this weekend.
The coordinator of the meetng is eKurhuleni mayor, Mzwandile Masina.
Last year, Malema said if the onslaught on Zuma continues, society will have to mobilize for Zuma.
Earlier this week Zuma stated that he will not be attending the Zondo Commission and this was regarded as defying the Constitutional Court by various law activists.
The Zondo Commission issued a statement compelling Zuma to avail himself to the Commission.
Following this statement, Malema asked for an urgent meeting with Zuma. The two agreed to meet at Zuma’s residence in KwaZuluNatal.
Malema has called Zuma all sorts of names before and even advocated for the removal of former President Jacob Zuma from office before completing his term.
