Actress Slindile Nodangala has spoken out about body positivity and has encouraged her followers along the way to embrace their bodies the way they are.
The actress who plays the role of Blossom on e.tv’s Rhythm City took to her Twitter page to open up about her struggles with weight and how she has embraced her body.
Other celebrities including Thickleeyonce have come out talking about the weight topic and body appearance.
In her tweets, Slindile said she has made peace with the fact that she is a size 50 and not a size 32.
Women across the board joined in on the conversation and spoke about their body insecurities. They also shared ways of how to overcome body insecurities.
Slindile became popular when she played the role of Ruby the shabeen Queen in Generations on SABC 1. She also played Beauty, a prison governor on Mzansi Magic’s prison drama Lockdown.
