Tshegofatso Pule’s Uncle Regrets Defending Women Killer

Tshegofatso Pule’s uncle, who was the defence attorney for convicted murderer Sandile Mantsoe, pledged on Thursday morning to never again represent those who rape, kill and molest women or children.

Tumisang Katake told mourners at the Soweto funeral of his niece that he will never represent anyone who have raped, killed their girlfriend or molested a child. He said they must all go to hell.

Local bikers arrived to show support to the Pule family at the funeral service of Tshegofatso Pule, who was 8 months pregnant when she was found hanging from a tree.

Close family members wore black T-shirts with a smiling face of Pule printed on them, demanding justice for Tshego.

The mood outside the family home was sombre.
