AKA – “Nadia Nakai Saved My Life” RIP Kiernan Forbes

Several South African artists and media personalities gathered at the Sandton Convention Center for the memorial service of Kiernan Forbes aka AKA.

Speech after speech they all shared the best moments they had with their late industry colleague, friend and brother.

Musician Yanga Chief was amongst those who spoke. He revealed that AKA had told him that it was Nadia Nakai who saved him.

AKA was struggling following the passing of his fiancée Anele Nellie Tembe who committed suicide in 2021.

The rapper had opened up about his depression and anxiety. AKA and Nadia Nakai announced their relationship in early 2022.

Yanga thanked Nadia Nakai for saving AKA, he said they were losing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
