AKA’s Mother Says Don Design is Her Son & She Loves Him

South African musician Kiernan Forbes who was famously known as AKA passed away on the 10th of February 2023.

He was shot and killed in Durban alongside his longtime friend Tebello Tibz Motsoane. A memorial service was held for him at the Sandton Convention Center yesterday.

AKA’s mother Lynn Forbes gave a touching speech at the memorial service. She said she has many sons and daughters.

Amongst her daughters are DJ Zinhle and Nadia Nakai. Lynn said Don Design was her son and that she loved him.

Don Design was late musician Kiernan Forbes’ close friend. He has been fingered as one of the people who were involved in the murder of AKA.

Design was also at the scene during AKA’s assassination. May AKA’s soul rest in eternal peace.
