“You Have One Month to Live” Somizi Allegedly Told by Doctors

Somizi Mhlongo rose to fame after taking part in the hit South African film Sarafina. Since then Mhlongo has been growing his career in the media industry.

Somizi Mhlongo is a reality television star, Idols SA judge, choreographer, television and radio host, amongst many other things.

In an interview with City Press in 2017, Somizi revealed that he was diagnosed with a terminal disease in 1999.

He said the disease was incurable and had a capacity to end his life. Somizi was apparently told that he had one month to live six years ago.

Fortunately with God’s grace the media personality is still alive. Somizi told the publication that he felt that there was no need to tell the public about the chronic illness.
