Mzansi was left shocked after a father allegedly poisoned his four sons before they went to school.
Three of the children passed away while the other was fighting for his life at hospital. The 40 year old man from Ratanda in Heidelberg passed away in hospital on 10 June 2022.
The father allegedly gave his sons poisoned energy drink on 26 May. The one who survived is still in hospital. The 5th child who refused to drink narrated the story to the teachers.
The drink was allegedly laced with Galephirime. After feeding his children poison the father tried to take his own life but he did not succeed.
Local business people, a funeral parlor, Gauteng Education Department and more groups joined hands in giving the boys a dignified sendoff.
The three deceased boys were buried on the 4th of June. May the deceased’s souls rest in eternal peace.
