Philani Mthembu, who is the late Ndoni Mcunu’s fience has paid tribute to her. Ndoni Mcunu passed away at the Cradle of Human Kind where she was on vacation.
The police notified her family of a gas leak at the accommodation where she stayed. They said that might have led to the scientist’s sudden passing.
Philani told mourners that he was left devastated when he heard the sad news. He took the first flight from Durban and flew to Gauteng.
He wore the suit which they bought with Ndoni in preparation for their wedding. Mthembu cried while addressing the mourners.
