FIFA Dismissed South Africa’s Case Against Ghana

FIFA has dismissed the Bafana Bafana and SAFA’s appeal and declared it inadmissible. Ghana was awarded a penalty during the game leaving many in Mzansi disgruntled.

They said the appeal did not meet the requirements under Article 46 and 14 of the FIFA disciplinary code and regulations.

SAFA lodged a protest last month after Ghana defeated Bafana Bafana 1-0 in the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup qualifiers. This meant South Africa failed to qualify for the tournament.
