Bafana Bafana soccer star Luther Singh has been ruled out for the rest of the year due to illness. His coach at Copenhagen Jess Thorup revealed the sad news.
It has been revealed that the 24 year old winger is admitted at hospital for observations and tests. This was after he fell ill during the match against PAOK from Greece.
Thorup said Singh is suffering from a mysterious illness and when more symptoms arose they were forced to have him admitted for further examination.
He further said Singh is still in hospital and he doubted if the soccer star will return to the game before January 2022. Thorup added that the player needed some time to get well.
Singh will miss Bafana Bafana’s scheduled matches against Zimbabwe and Ghana. He had been chosen by Hugo Broos as part of the squad to play on this week’s back to back World Cup qualifiers.
