Kaizer Motaung Jnr, is the son of Kaizer Chiefs Chairman Kaizer Motaung. He was born on the 8th of August in 1981 in Johannesburg. He is one of the five children of Kaizer Motaung and Valeta.
His father Kaizer Motaung is the founder of one of South Africa’s biggest clubs Kaizer Chiefs. Motaung Jnr is married to a Germany national Katherine Heider.
Kaizer and Katherine are parents to two beautiful boys, their eldest son was born in 2011. In 2018 he was rushed to the hospital after an overdose of a coughing syrup mixture.
In 2020 the marriage between Kaizer and Katherine came to an after he filed for divorce. After the divorce, Catherine allegedly sold their house in Germany and confiscated the horses they owned together.
Motaung is now rumoured to be in a relationship with actress Mbali Nkosi. Toyota sponsors Kaizer Chiefs and Motaung is usually seen driving Toyota Fortuners, Toyota Legends amongst other new models.
His foundation, The Kaizer Motaung Jnr Foundation focuses on rural areas and during the Covid-19 pandemic, the foundation has been helping the less privileged.
Apart from his charity work he is an advocate against gender based violence. His football career started at the Bidvest youth Academy before he moved to play in Germany.
In 2003 he joined Kaizer Chiefs amd scored 34 goals. He retired from football in January 2014 and he went to complete his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
