Jacob Zuma Leaving Nkandla at Night, Video Leaked

Former President Jacob Zuma handed himself over to the police following a judgement that found him guilty of contempt of court. He was sentenced to 15 months in prison.

He is currently serving his jail term at Estcourt correctional facility n in KwaZuluNatal. Zuma is believed to have been released from prison to allow him to attend the funeral of his brother Michael Zuma who passed away.

A video of Zuma leaving Nkandla on Thursday was leaked and it has been circulating on social media. His supporters sang songs in praise of the former President.

Zuma’s supporters have been protesting ever since the former President was arrested. A lot of property was destroyed during the protesting with protesters demanding for Zuma’s release.
