The South African National Defence Force) (SANDF) has deployed solders in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
The solders were deployed to assist law enforcement agencies to quell the unrest that has gripped in both provinces for the past few days.
The news broke in a statement released by the SANDF.
