Venda singer Makhadzi has released a statement in which she admits that the fight between her and King Monada over who owns Ganama was not staged at all.

She said she lied in order to save Monada’s reputation and burry the hatchet. The Limpopo born musician agreed to share the song 50/50 before King Monada started demanding 100% copyrights of the song because it was recorded in his studio.

Makhadzi then recorded the song without the Idibala hitmaker and released it. However most tweeps are saying the song is not much interesting without King Monada featuring.

Makhadzi’s Ganama is doing well and it managed to ganner 100 thousand views in just 24 hours. It is also trending number 15 on YouTube music.

She took to Twitter to celebrate the achievement.
