The Zulu nation has been trending since it was revealed that King Zwelithini’s wife the Great wife has been appointed as the interim leader of the Zulu nation.
Queen Mantfombi MaDlamini Zulu will be the interim ruler of the Zulu nation pending the installation of a new King to succeed the late King Goodwill Zwelithini KaBhekuzulu.
This comes after the passing of King Goodwill Zwelithini KaBhekuzulu last week.
It was revealed that Queen Mantfombi is the daughter of late King Mswati II and sister of the current eSwatini King Mswati III.
The Queen who is also known as the Great wife was appointed because she is the only one who has royal blood among the late King’s six wives.
As the Great wife one of her sons is likely to permanently replace King Goodwill Zwelithini KaBhekuzulu.
