The much anticipated Nkandla tea meeting between former President Jacob Zuma and EFF leader Julius Malema has started.
Earlier on a helicopter landed at Nkandla with EFF leader Julius Malema as well as former party chair Advocate Dali Mpofu for the meeting.
Tony Yengeni is also party of the delegation as well as Ekurhuleni Mayor Mzwandile Masina and EFF spokesperson Vuyani Pambo. They all arrived at around 12:30 afternoon.
Dali Mpofu’s presence at the meeting gives credence to the fact that part of what is going to be discussed has to do with former President’s remarks that he won’t be abiding by the Constitutional Court ruling forcing him to appear before the Zondo Commission.
The meeting is expected to take the whole of afternoon till the evening. After the meeting important announcements are expected to be made.
