North West Mayor Mpho Khunou Accused Of Leaking Pictures Of Co-Worker.

The Sowetan reports that mayor of a North West municipality has been accused of harassment and appeared in court with his accuser in court to overturn an interim protection order granted against him.

Rustenburg local municipality mayor Mpho Khunou’s faced an order in the Tlhabane magistrate’s court which was obtained by his former colleague Sinah Makgatlha, 35, who further clamed they were in a romantic relationship.

The accuser Makgatha further said that Mayor Khunou went on to distribute her n_aked pictures and private messages to his friends without her permission.

Mayor Khunou however denied this in court.

The accuser Sinah Makgatha has resigned from the municipality where she worked closely with the mayor.
