The City Press newspaper reports that Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has been ordered to pay a losing Zimbabwe Presidential candidate’s company , JM Busha Investment group, R200 Million.

The Mail and Guardian reported earlier this year that the money that Makamba Busha invested in Bushiri’s companies was made up of investments from South African pension funds, who were promised returns as high as 40% per annum.

Joseph Makamba Busha contested the Zimbabwe Presidential elections in 2018 and came out number 7 out of the 21 candidates. Makamba Busha is already campaigning for Zimbabwe ‘s 2023 Presidential Elections as seen in recent posters on Facebook.

Busha wants everything registered under Bushiri to be placed under provisional sequestration. The application was granted on 24 November.

The amount owed by Bushiri to JM Busha Investments is R203 Million.
