Lorna Maseko who was once a tv presenter and is now a celebrity chef who began her culinary career simply with a cook book has been awarded with a Culinary Icon Award 2020.
She posted the news on her social media through a video in which she was holding her award.
“Super excited to have won the Culinary Icon Award at #LuxeRestaurantAward2020 this evening…I’m so stoked and feeling so blessed!!! Won’t He do it!!!”, she wrote.
Bonang Matheba who was her best friend also attended the ceremony and wished her well.

The chef also launched her cook book at Diamond walk in Sandton City where other celebrities such as Ayanda Thabethe, Basetsana Kumalo, Shashi Naidoo and Blue Mbombo were seen.
