The self-proclaimed prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary were granted  R200,000 bail each.

Their release has been met with mixed reactions on social media.

His supporters attributed the decision to their prayers while opponents left with more questions than answers.

However, Bushiri’s supporters have flooded outside Pretoria Magistrates court to express their joy about his release.
