The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards were held on Sunday the 30th of August in New York.
Dumisani Dlamini’s daughter Doja Cat was among those who performed. She was also nominated for the awards alongside Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.
Doja Cat performed her Billboard Hot 100 No.1 hit song, ‘Say So’ as well as ‘Like That’.
The 24 year old rapper then managed to win The Best New Artist award.
