Bonang Matheba is really dominating 2020 even though the world is facing the Covid-19 pandemic. Her film ‘Public Figure’ is returning to screens and fans are so excited.
The film that she co-produced, ‘Public Figure’ is due to play on SABC 1 on the 24th and 31st of August 2020 at 2100 hrs.
Bonang is over the moon that her film is being played in her home country for everyone to see.
The film was first screened in South Africa at the International Documentary Festival in June 2019. It was screened in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
‘Public Figure’ focuses on the use of social media, the impact it has on those who get their entertainment from it and those who make a living from it.
The official premiere of the film took place early 2019 in Manchester, United Kingdom. It was also screened in New York, United States of America.
