Gospel singer Zahara has been accused of breaking level 3 lockdown regulations. Her neighbours told TshisaLive that Zahara hosted several people at her house, last Tuesday evening.
There were more than ten people and police had to be called. They arrived at around 9pm to remove some people. Another neighbour said there were a lot of cars in the streets.
Honeydew police spokesperson refused to comment on Zahara’ s case but he urged everyone to report if they believe that their neighbour was holding an illegal gathering.
Zahara denied that she threw a party and told TshisaLive that the guests were her family from Eastern Cape who were there to attend a memorial service.
She added that they drove all the way from Eastern Cape to attend her cousin brother’s memorial on Tuesday evening. She also revealed that she left for Eastern Cape with them.
