Former Muvhango actress Candy Moloi has passed on. The news of her passing was confirmed by Muvhango creator Duma KaNdlovu.
She was well known for her role as Mukwevho family elder Makhadzi. Candy Moloi played the character of Makhadzi for a very long period of time on the SABC 2 telenovela.
Candy Moloi is also the mother of talented actress Lerato Moloi who also got her big break on Muvhango. Lerato is currently appearing on Rhythm City.
Not so long ago she shared her journey of Covid -19, how it affected her and how she recovered from the virus.
South Africans are devastated after hearing the sad news as Makhadzi was a much loved character on Muvhango.
