One of the cast members of Uzalo has tested positive for Covid-19. SABC 1’s most watched telenovela is the latest to be hit by Coronavirus.
One of the cast members tested positive for coronavirus therefore forcing Production to be stopped. It is still not clear how long the production will be stopped.
However Uzalo spokesperson said the show will remain on air for quite some time. The statement issued by Uzalo spokesperson reads as follows.
“SABC 1’s most watched soapie opera Uzalo come together to offer compassion and support to a colleague who has tested positive for Covid-19”.
Production on Uzalo was halted on Friday upon noticing that a member has tested positive. The crew wished the cast member a quick recovery.
