Gospel artist Nqubeko Mbatha has released his new album titled “Devotion”. He speaks to Morning Live about his music career and his love for music.

Mbatha revealed that he fell in love with music because he was raised in a church family and they would sing at home and at church.

He learnt about music, producing and the industry while working with Joyous Celebration. He left the gospel group to start his own solo singing career.

Mbatha said he started working on this new album last year and he finished this year thanks to the current lockdown that gave him more time. A single titled, “Friendship With Jesus” is already out and ready for download.

The album has eleven tracks featuring Mnqobi Nxumalo from Joyous Celebration. The album is full of healing and hope especially during this Covid-19 period.

Mbatha concluded by saying his music reflects on devotion as it draws people to devote themselves to God. He also said his music is available on iTunes, Deezer and more.
