Songstress Makhadzi has blasted South African Music Awards calling it a tribalist organisation.
Makhadzi took to social media to express her disappointment of not being nominated for the SAMAs.
In her tweet, Makhadzi congratulated all the nominees and expressed her sadness for not being nominated for her hit song “Matorokisi” even after all the hype the song caused last year.
Makhadzi is not the only artist from Limpopo who is not nominated. Even Master KG was not nominated. The “Jerusalema” hit maker also expressed his disappointment on Twitter.
He said he will keep working hard till the day they recognise him.
