Former Bafana Bafana captain Aaron Mokoena takes a trip down memory lane, reliving the moments before the team ran onto the pitch for the opening game of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The soccer star revealed that the opening game was a memory he would live with for the rest of his life. Mokoena mentioned a goal that was scored by Siphiwe Tshabalala as the goal that gave him hope.

Mokoena added that the moment was unbelievable for him. He had not pictured himself being part of the first World Cup to be held in Africa.

As the captain of Bafana Bafana he revealed how excited he was to have his team scoring the first goal of the tournament.
