Metro FM which is South Africa’s third biggest radio station has introduced some changes for their new financial year in April.

Changes introduced included not renewing contracts of it’s presenters and some did not survive the cut.

Last Night Ride which aired on Saturday and was presented by Siphokazi January has been cancelled. Epic Sunday which was hosted by Ntombi Mzolo was also cancelled and the hosts of these shows have left the station.

Relebogile Mabotja ‘s show was cancelled too. Those who survived the chop include Somizi Mhlongo Motaung, Lerato Kganyago and Dineo Ranaka who will still host The Bridge on it’s usual time.

The Morning Flava presented by Mo Flava and the MOP Team at 5am and 8am during weekdays still remains.

Lindi Sirame was added to hosting The King’s Suite while the Launch is still served by Thomas and Pearl. Two new developmental slots aimed at setting up new and young talent for the future at Metro were introduced.

These are weekend programmes The Lift and Club with Mat Elle hosted by Rorisang Thandekiso and Nthabeleng Matela respectively.
