In a conversation with Slikour, Big Zulu revealed that he was a gunmen, a drag racer, a taxi driver and once lived in hostel.
The music rapper said the name “Zulu” started when he was working in Meyerton, an area surrounded with most Sotho speaking people.
He said at that time, he was doing drag racing and when he went to the carwash with his 325, the guys who work there would write the name ‘Zulu’ at the window after washing his car.
Big Zulu also explained that he was involved in tax industry where he was driving taxis because his family had taxi businesses.
Adding, he said they used to call him “inkabi” in the taxi rank because he had a gun and was feared by many.
However, Big Zulu said he left drag racing after he lost four of his friends in the same month of December after they were involved in an accident.
