The former leader of the Democratic Alliance Party Mmusi Maimane has weighed in on the Zimbabwean elections, following the announcement that Emmerson Mnangagwa had won a second term.

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission announced that Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zanu PF received over 2.3 million votes while Nelson Chamisa of CCC received over 1.9 million votes.
