One person has been reported dead, and 41 were left injured after Bree Street collapsed in Johannesburg CBD.
Several others are hospitalised after the taxis they were travelling in were damaged on Bree Street when the road collapsed.
Vehicles mostly taxis were affected with many of them damaged as they were flipped upside-down.
The street collapsed due to a suspected underground gas explosion.The incident occurred at around 5pm yesterday.
