Convicted drug dealer Glenn Agliotti reportedly passed away during an operation in Johannesburg. Agliotti passed away yesterday at the age of 66.

Agliotti passed away at Olivedale Clinic where his family had rushed him yesterday morning. Police confirmed that an inquest into his death has since been opened.

A police officer from Douglasdale police station, North of Johannesburg revealed that Agliotti was ill and his health was getting worse as he struggled with walking.

The businessman was supposed to report at the police station for his parole. They noticed that he was not well during some of his visits at the station.

Agliotti was a state witness against late former police commissioner Jackie Selebi and he stood trial for Brett Kebble’s 2005 death.
