Emtee’s estranged wife Chantel Chinsamy has alleged that the rapper is a drug addict in her police statement. The mother of three also claimed that Emtee abused her.
Chinsamy opened a case of assault at the Midrand Police Station in Johannesburg. She made the allegations against Emtee whose real name is Mthembeni Ndevu in her police statement.
In her statement she alleged that Emtee was physically abusing her with an intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Emtee is on record on his social media platforms denying that he was into drugs. Chinsamy has since withdrawn the case for the sake of their children.
In his court papers, the musician denied assaulting the mother of his children. He also denied that he was doing drugs.
He however agreed that there was an altercation between him and Chinsamy in February 2023.
