Mrs Leo from The Real Housewives of Cape Town Convicted In Love Scam

Kgalalelo Loveline Abinokhauno (also known as Moloko), famously called Mrs Leo from The Real Housewives of Cape Town.

Conviction: Found guilty and sentenced by the Cape Town Regional Court.

Crime: Involved in a major international dating scam.

Victims & Amount: Defrauded two women (one in the US, one in Canada) of over R3.2 million.

How the scam worked:

• Lured victims on an online dating site using a fake profile of an “American engineer working in South Africa.”

• Scammers asked for emergency money, promising to pay it back – but never did.

Co-accused: Several accomplices were convicted. Her husband, Innocent Abinokhauno, fled and remains a fugitive.

Background before legal trouble:

• Content creator, influencer, and businesswoman.

• Ran an events and concierge company called La Prive.

• Originally from North West province; later lived in Cape Town.
